SBE21 Heritage goes online! Programme released

As the coronavirus is hitting the world with renovated strength and travel restrictions as well as social distancing measures are still affecting our daily life, we decided to move SBE21 Heritage online.

Over the past weeks, we have been working hard to find solutions that will make the online experience as close as possible to a pre-covid event. We are confident that the SBE21 Heritage conference will give scholars and experts the opportunity to share their ideas and create new bonds, even if from a distance.

Sessions and networking space

Online sessions will be hosted on Zoom. To help participants navigate through the programme, we have grouped oral presentations into three thematic tracks:

  • Track 1 – Conservation of heritage and resources in the built environment
  • Track 2 – Creating favourable framework conditions
  • Track 3 – Development, analysis, and implementation of technical solutions

On the 15th of April, we will discuss about real case studies, tools and best practices in the special sessions “Research meets practice“, which will be translated into the main languages of the Alpine area. Members of Italian Chambers of Architects in Italy participating in the sessions can request accreditation (further information is available here).

In addition to that and for the whole duration of the conference, attendees will be able to access a virtual networking space (provided by Airmeet) to discuss about given topics or talk freely. Never used Airmeet? Here is guide that will help you take your first steps.

The networking space will be accessible at all times. After each session, presenters will be invited to enter the networking space to meet with attendees and answer their questions.
